Welcome to WorkCoverSA's seventh annual conference.
I have much pleasure in inviting you to join us for WorkCoverSA’s 2012 Conference; ‘integrate, innovate, inspire!’, which will provide a stimulating blend of inspirational, informative, and innovative sessions for all involved in the workers' rehabilitation and compensation field and the broader business community.
This year, we are privileged to have one of the world’s top inspirational speakers, Nando Parrado, join us to share first-hand the remarkable story of a Uruguay Rugby team whose plane crashed in the Andes in 1972. Their story of courage, resilience, teamwork, determination and leadership, experienced at a level few have known, will leave you with a heightened awareness of the value of human life.
Nando undertakes limited speaking engagements due to business and family obligations, so we are delighted that he has agreed to appear at the 2012 Conference - exclusive to WorkCover and Adelaide. Our thanks go to Nando for the generous considerations he has made to enable us to include him in the conference program and to our valued sponsors who have made his appearance possible. We are certain that his presentation will have a profound affect on all in attendance.
The two sets of three concurrent sessions will also provide an opportunity for delegates to share experiences, gain knowledge and engage with industry leaders across a range of topics drawn directly from feedback provided by last year's conference attendees.
